Punjab is a land of five rivers-Ravi,Satluj,Chenab,Beas and Jhelum is highly fertile and is also known as the "granary of india'.This anciant land of vedas,Indus vally civilisation ,Taxila university,of milk and honey ,arts and artefacts,rich agriculture ,warm hospitable and brave people was subjected to respeated onsaughts from the persians,maurians,scythians,parthians,kushans and then the mughals.15th and 16th centuary mark a period of watershed in the history of punjab.through the technigs of gurunanak,bhakti,movement recived a great impetus .Guru Gobind Sing ,the tenth sikh guru transformed sikhs into a militant outfit ,'khalsa',to challenge the tytanny of Mughalas.The state also made greate contribution to the indias stuggle for freedom on all fronts in india and abroad.Punjab faced the holocaust of partition after indias independence ,but the enterpricing and industrious people of pinjab bounced back to become one of most affluent states of the country.today ,it is synonymous with high spirits,prosperity and passionate involvement with life itself.Punjab's role in the field of 'green revolution',industial development ,sports and armed foreces has been unique and unparellel.punjab is also dotted with places historical and cultural interest.

The union territory of chandigarth is the capital of both punjab and harriyana.This is the best planned modern city of india.it was planned and desighned by a famous architect le corbusier and his cousine pierre jeanneret and can be called a paean to the urban planning .The city has been divided into several sellf-conained sectors ,each with its own market - place,hospital,educational institutions,worship places,gardens and open play grounds etc.

INTERESTED PLACE AMRITSAR,CHANDIGARH,PATIALA,RUPNAGAR,SANGRUR,PATANKOT,SIRHIND,LUDHIANA.............Their are somany places i think about 20 to 40.Different kinds of foods,dress,next i need to tell you about people very loving,friendly i had no words to say and next about the buildings so different then i asw that most of give more importants about their food so that i think they look too fat .Next about traffic all of them were busy so they are not thinking about their driving too dangerious way. Most important place their i remember in a sad feeling when i gone to Jallianwala Bag then i remember about our freedom fighters how they fight hard to get freedom to our country. Then i saw the place were all the sikh people worship 'Golden Temple' for getting inside we need to wear small scarf/towl we get it from their itself special about this temple is made full of gold infront of the temple their is a big pound in that different kinds of fish allso in that pound most of the sikh people bath by facing the god at that time they took out their cloth wearing on the top of their head . somany mosque allso beautifull about the taki vehicle hourse,motorvehicle in one motor vehicle about 20 people can sit for watching it is too small by getting in side its too big its to nice please visit
